Account Deletion Request

We respect your right to privacy and control over your personal data. You can request deletion of your PIKUP account and all associated data at any time.

Option 1: Delete In-App

If you can access your PIKUP account, you can delete it directly from the app:

  1. Log in to your PIKUP account
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Scroll to Danger Zone
  4. Click Delete Account
  5. Type DELETE to confirm
  6. Your account will be deleted immediately

Option 2: Email Request

If you cannot access your account, send us an email:

Include in your email:

  • Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Your registered email address
  • Your registered phone number
  • Reason for deletion (optional)

What Will Be Deleted

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. The following data will be permanently removed:

  • Profile Information: Name, email, phone number, profile picture
  • Booking History: All your past and active bookings
  • Vehicles & Routes: All registered vehicles and posted routes (for drivers)
  • Wallet Data: Transaction history and wallet balance
  • Reviews & Ratings: All reviews given and received
  • Account Access: You will no longer be able to log in

All personal data permanently removed from our systems

Data Retention for Legal Compliance

Some data may be retained for legal and regulatory compliance:

  • Transaction Records: Financial transaction data retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax laws
  • Legal Disputes: Data related to ongoing legal matters retained until resolution
  • Fraud Prevention: Anonymized data for security and fraud prevention purposes

This retained data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Before You Delete Your Account

Please consider:

  • Complete or cancel any active bookings
  • Withdraw any remaining wallet balance (for drivers)
  • Download your booking history if needed
  • Save any important information from your account
  • Consider temporarily deactivating instead of deleting

Alternative: Temporary Deactivation

If you're not sure about permanent deletion, you can:

  • Simply stop using the app - your account remains inactive
  • Uninstall the app from your device
  • Contact us to temporarily disable your account
  • Return anytime by logging back in

Inactive accounts are automatically deleted after 3 years of inactivity.
